Mencap Enchanted Ball21.03.09

POSH NOSH catered for the Mencap Enchanted Ball on Saturday 21 March 2009. The event was a spectacular evening of magic and charm, staged in the unique surroundings of the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum.

The event drew together high-profile individuals from many of Northern Ireland’s top businesses as well as celebrities, corporate supporters and friends of Mencap. Tolson Sherwood the executive Chef of Posh Nosh, donated his catering services as an auction lot for the ball, which drew in one of the highest bids of the evening at £2½K! The funds raised through the Enchanted Ball will directly support children, young people and adults with a learning disability in Northern Ireland.

THE PRESS GANG - Ulster Tatler05.01.2009

Press Association Ireland, the national news agency for Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, recently unveiled its new offices on the first floor of Belfast's Scottish Provident Building.

Deric Henderson (Press Association Ireland Editor) invited First Minister Peter Robinson, Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness and Lord Mayor Cllr. Tom Hartley to say a few words on the night.

POSH NOSH provided the canapes for the launch, which were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

While many local business owners are fearing for their future in the current economic climate, Bangor catering company POSH NOSH is determined to keep on growing.

With 15 years in the business already under their belt, POSH NOSH owners Tolson and Lynda Sherwood have recently opened new premises at Balloo industrial estate, comprising a state-of-the art catering kitchen, contemporary office space and a luxurious tasting room for clients.
